On the day the president plans to host a military parade downtown, we are coming together to reject fear and center the DC communities we know and love.

DC Joy Day is a celebration of DC culture and communities with food, music, performances, kids’ activities, and more. Invite your friends, bring a blanket and a cooler, and come kick it with the people who know that the people of the District choose freedom over fear.

Getting there:
Anacostia Park Field 7 is adjacent to the Roller Skating Pavilion. We encourage carpooling to this location.

Queer Bike Ride and Capitol Hill Family Biking will bike as groups to Field 7. Meet at National Park at 2:30 PM to join the group ride.
