Extinction Rebellion DC invites you to an open space to talk about our individual and collective grief on the Climate Crisis. Amid heatwaves, displacement, hurricanes, and ecosystem collapse, we have a lot to grieve. As a way to cope and to support one another, we will gather so we know we are less isolated and more hopeful.
Come listen and share what we, as part of the ecosystems around us, are experiencing or have experienced. Through the process of collective discussion, our catharsis is mutual and our grief is transformed into connection. We invite you to be open to what comes with connecting to your neighbors, known and unknown, as we process the destruction and potential in the Anthropocene, and recognizing those who have been affected directly or indirectly by the climate crisis. Knowing that our environment is shared gives us more of a chance to be interdependent, resilient, and to participate in the renewal of our collective future.
